Through an apprenticeship at A+W you get a crystal clear view: You will get to know our company from the ground up, you will experience the process flows of the various departments first-hand and you will be part of the whole. Another advantage for you: we offer you professional experience in a growing, internationally oriented company portfolio.
As an Industrial clerk (m/f/d), you won’t be bored at all, because you will support our finance department in its daily work and get to know the processing, booking and controlling of the company’s transactions.
As an IT Specialist Application Development (m/f/d), you will be working in our development departments and programming a wide variety of applications. You will learn how to design and implement software projects within our development teams and assist in the analysis and planning of IT systems.
As a future IT Specialist System Integration (m/f/d), you will plan and configure networks, network hardware and software components and instruct users; you will also determine malfunctions and errors and correct them professionally. You will never twiddle your thumbs, because you will, among other things, support our IT department in its daily work and help your colleagues with hardware and software problems related to computers or make connected devices functional again.
Our apprenticeship opportunities
Math is your absolute favorite subject and you like to juggle numbers?
Then apply for an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk (m/f/d).
After 3 years of dual training, alternating between your workplace and the vocational school (Max Weber School, Giessen), you will have your degree in your hands.
You program in your spare time and have experience in at least one high-level programming language such as C++ or C#?
Then start your dual vocational training as an IT specialist for application development! The training lasts 3 years and takes place in alternation between your workplace and the vocational school (Theodor-Litt-Schule, Gießen).
Do you enjoy working with PCs and technical components and have you already gained some experience in this field?

The Ultimate Dual Study!
General Information on Dual Studies
Have you obtained your high school diploma or university entrance qualification? We can offer you a complete dual study program. Either in the field of information technology, or more precisely: a bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology, Technical Information Technology, or in the field of Business Administration for SMEs. And after the bachelor’s degree? You can choose between a Master of Science (Process Management/Business Processes) or a Master of Engineering (Technical Sales).
In any case, you will be welcomed by an open-minded, friendly team with an open-door policy and friendly culture. Your place of work: our light-flooded offices with a campus atmosphere. Our modern IT infrastructure and company laptops make work easy for you. In addition, our flextime system with core working hours and the option of hybrid working guarantees you a good work-life balance. Especially rewarding: the financial side! We offer you a very attractive salary according to our in-house compensation model (13 salaries), and in the dual study program we also reimburse your semester fees. Our study opportunities
Do you have a soft spot for business and computer topics including software? Would you like to program and tinker all day long?
Then start your practical business informatics bachelor’s degree with us in the winter semester of each year and develop your full potential in seven semesters.
Your constant companion: Raspberry Pi.
You know that a “bug” has nothing to do with insects?
Your playground is a Raspberry Pi? Tinkering, programming, and discovering new things are your favorite pastimes?
Then this is the perfect course of study for you: in seven semesters you’ll have a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering! Your studies will begin in the winter semester of each year.
Juggling with numbers never makes you dizzy?
Are you interested in business topics and software?
Then enroll at our partner university for the winter semester of each year and 7 semesters later you’ll have your business administration bachelor’s degree!
Deepen your specialist knowledge: You can start your Master of Science with us in the summer semester of each year and complete it in 3 semesters.
The requirements: Your bachelor’s degree, your interest in business and software topics, and your willingness to learn new things.
You can start this Master of Engineering with us in the summer semester of each year. In 3 semesters, you will gain comprehensive insights that will best prepare you for future management activities.
What you need: a completed bachelor’s degree, a good dose of curiosity, openness and communication skills, and a passion for software.
